Job summary

Newcross Healthcare in Taunton is hiring a compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centred care in residential homes, supported living, and community settings. You will help people live more independently and build confidence.

Flexibility is offered with shifts to suit you; earn £14.25 to £16.35 per hour, with same-day pay and access to hundreds of training courses. Eligibility includes right to work in the UK and at least 6 months of paid UK care experience in the last 3 years;

Support Worker – Taunton (TA1, TA2, TA3)

Pay: £14.25 to £16.35 per hour

What you’ll do:

As a Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred care and emotional support to individuals in a variety of settings, including residential homes, supported living, and the community. You will help people live more independently, build confidence and lead fulfilling lives.

What you need:

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A minimum of 6 months of paid UK care experience in the last 3 years
• Relevant registration for applicants in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland (e.g. SSSC, SCW, NISCC) – not required in England
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
