Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare seeks compassionate carers to provide complex, person-centred home care in the UK. You will administer medications, assist with daily activities, and support clients with mobility and wellbeing under nurse-led guidance.

The role requires patience, reliability, and strong English skills. Training is provided, with flexible hours and opportunities for career progression within a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• 6+ months care experience (essential).
• Knowledge of epilepsy & challenging behaviour (preferred).
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Basic IT skills for completing documentation.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Medication administration (including PEG/NG where trained)
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning (where applicable)
• Manual handling and safe transfers
• Behaviour support and de-escalation
• Monitoring and reporting health changes
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
• Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
• Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Build trusting relationships with clients and families
• Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
• Caring nature and genuine desire to help others

Hours: 10:00am-8:00pm (2:1 support)

Pay: £12.71 - £14.87 per hour
