Job summary

Nouveau Care is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant in Hunstanton, Norfolk, to support residents with daily personal care in care homes. You will work with experienced nursing staff to promote dignity and wellbeing in a dynamic staffing environment.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months care experience, NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), and strong communication skills. We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, and ongoing training across varied placements.

Role Description

Provide high‑quality care promoting dignity, independence, and well‑being for vulnerable adults in care homes and nursing homes. This role is part of a dynamic care team fulfilling temporary staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support mobility, using equipment safely as required.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Monitor and report residents’ health and well‑being to nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing teams, residents, and families to deliver high standards of care.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting is desirable.
  • Minimum 6‑12 months care experience.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
