Job summary

Nouveau Care in Dereham, Norfolk, UK is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support care homes and nursing homes across the area. This part-time position offers flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends) to help maintain high standards of compassionate, person-centred care for residents.

You will work as part of a caring team, provide daily personal care, assist with mobility and meals, monitor wellbeing, and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting is desirable.
• Minimum of 6–12 months of care experience.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mobility needs, using equipment safely as required.
