Job summary

Nouveau Care is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our flexible shifts in Downham Market, Norfolk. You will work within care homes and nursing settings, delivering dignified support to residents and ensuring safety and comfort.

We welcome applicants with 6–12 months of care experience, strong communication, and a compassionate, reliable approach. Training opportunities and weekly pay are provided through our agency to support your development and placement flexibility.

Role Description

As a Healthcare Assistant you will work as part of a dynamic care team, filling temporary staffing needs for care homes and nursing homes. You will provide high‑quality care that promotes dignity, independence, and well‑being for vulnerable adults, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support mobility needs, using equipment safely as required.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
