Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust invites experienced Health Visitors to join a high performing service across Aylesbury and surrounding areas. You will lead delivery of the Healthy Child Programme with the support of Community Staff Nurses and Community Nursery Nurses, guiding families with warmth and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Health Visiting qualification (Cert/Diploma/Degree).
Leadership training completed or demonstrated.
Nurse Prescribing Qualification held.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme with support from Community Staff Nurses and Community Nursery Nurses.
Support learning and development within the team and encourage new ideas.
Provide preceptorship for newly qualified Health Visitors and regular supervision.
Offer training and support for further education.
Be able to travel to various community sites daily.
