Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging Health and PSHE lessons to students.
• Teach topics including physical health, mental wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, relationships, personal safety, and emotional resilience.
• Develop lesson plans and resources meeting individual needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support students' personal, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and school leadership.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, behaviour, and safeguarding.
• Adapt methods to support learners with different abilities and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach topics including physical health, mental wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, relationships, personal safety, and emotional resilience.
• Develop lesson plans and learning resources that meet students' individual needs.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, where required for the role.
• Experience teaching Health, PSHE, or a related subject.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A genuine interest in promoting students' health, wellbeing, and personal development.
• The ability to engage and motivate students of different abilities.
• A patient, flexible, and supportive approach to teaching.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working in a secondary school or specialist educational setting.
• Experience supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Knowledge of PSHE, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), and personal development curricula.
