Job Description:

What you will be doing

As a Health Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will:

  • Work with Health, Safety & Wellbeing Senior Management to ensure appropriate implementation of the delivery plan for the geographic regions.
  • Strengthen the management of investigations to ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of preventative and corrective actions.
  • Undertake site inspections and assurance visits focusing on high and medium-risk sites to deliver the 5-year assurance program.
  • Build valuable internal and external relationships with stakeholders, supply chain partners, and regulators.
  • Be included in the ‘on-call’ Health, Safety & Wellbeing ‘24/7’ rota to provide functional support for incident management.
  • Support Capital delivery and review contractors’ activities.
  • Produce and present performance reports across different teams.
  • Working hours: 36 hours per week.

What you should bring to the role

  • Expertise in risks related to Water, Wastewater, and/or Construction.
  • NEBOSH Diploma and working towards CMIOSH.
  • Deep knowledge of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing legislation and practical application.
  • Strong negotiation skills at high levels.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
