You’ll be the go-to expert for all health, safety, and wellbeing matters for our Bristol hub and UK field-based teams. You’ll also support our teams in London, Dublin, and Nottingham - ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of care and accountability.
Principle Accountabilities
- Provide expert advice and set strategies to promote a positive behavioural safety culture.
- Lead quarterly Health & Safety review meetings and drive action plans.
- Investigate incidents and ensure timely reporting to Group Health & Safety.
- Manage and audit Health & Safety systems, legal registers, and emergency procedures.
- Deliver training programmes including first aid, mental health, and site inductions.
- Launch and lead wellbeing initiatives, including flu vaccination and annual wellbeing agendas.
Skills and Experience Required
- NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent) – essential.
- Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland H&S legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Proven experience in a similar advisory or leadership role.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to analyse data and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
- Passion for wellbeing and creating a positive, inclusive work environment.
