Job summary

3t Training Services is recruiting a Health & Safety Instructor on a permanent contract in Urmston, Manchester. The role delivers accredited and non-accredited health and safety training across practical and classroom environments, designing and delivering engaging courses to develop learner competence and compliance.

Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. The package includes £34,000–£38,000 per year, 33 days holiday, pension contributions, a health plan, cycle to work

Qualifications

• Demonstrated training delivery capability aligned to health and safety training requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage learners.
• Ability to deliver both practical and theory-based instruction effectively.
• Evidence of competence via CV, course materials or training portfolio.
• Hold Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent.
• Health & Safety qualification at minimum IOSH Managing Safely.
• Emergency First Aid at Work and current training approvals & certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver health and safety training in line with course specs.
• Deliver theory and practical instruction with clear communication and feedback.
• Adapt delivery to different learning styles and contexts.
• Maintain learner records, course materials and assessment evidence.
• Ensure training aligns with legislation and awarding-body requirements.
