Rise Technical Recruitment is recruiting for a Health & Safety Instructor. The role offers full training and development, a Monday-Friday 40-hour week, and career progression within a leading technical training provider.
You will bring a genuine muddy boots background from construction or heavy industry and deliver safety training across IOSH, NEBOSH and related programmes, while developing others and expanding your own instructor qualifications.
£34,000 - £38,000 + Monday-Friday + Full Training & Development + HSF Health Plan + Perkbox + Pension + Cycle to Work Scheme + 33 Days Holiday
Do you have a genuine "muddy boots" Health & Safety background from construction, utilities, engineering or heavy industry?
Are you looking to step away from site work into a Monday-Friday training role where you can pass on your knowledge, continue developing your own skills and enjoy a fantastic work-life balance?
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading technical training providers. Following significant investment into its facilities, technology and training capability, the organisation continues to grow and is committed to becoming the leading provider of technical and safety training across the engineering and energy sectors.
They aren't looking for someone who has only worked behind a desk. They're looking for someone with a genuine "muddy boots" background-someone who has worked on construction sites, within utilities or heavy industry and can bring real-life experience into the classroom. Your credibility and industry knowledge are what will make you successful in this role.
You’ll deliver a mixture of classroom and practical Health & Safety training to delegates from construction, engineering, utilities and infrastructure organisations. Rather than carrying out site inspections or compliance audits, you’ll use your experience to develop others whilst continuing to build your own technical capability through further instructor qualifications and industry accreditations.
The organisation invests heavily in its instructors, providing structured development and the opportunity to gain approvals across a broad range of Health & Safety disciplines. As your experience grows, you’ll have the opportunity to expand the number of accredited courses you deliver, making this an excellent long-term career move.
This role would suit a Health & Safety Advisor, HSE Advisor, SHEQ Advisor, Site Safety Advisor, Site Manager, Construction Manager or Health & Safety Trainer looking to move into a rewarding role where they can continue working within the industry whilst helping develop the next generation of professionals.
