Job summary

Halfords Health & Safety Business Partner (Logistics) is seeking a proactive professional to drive safety culture across Redditch, Washford and Coventry distribution sites, delivering strategies, audits and expert guidance.

You will build strong relationships with managers, conduct inspections, lead safety training, investigate incidents and promote best practice while ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification (NVQ Level 5)
• Experience promoting a positive health and safety culture across multiple sites
• Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor health and safety strategies across the Halfords Logistics network.
• Conduct audits, inspections and management reviews to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Produce reports with recommendations and lead corrective action programmes.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and preventative measures.
