Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Health and Safety Business Partner to cover a patch across Southwest England and South Wales. The role focuses on sustaining a robust health and safety culture across Halfords Garages, Retail and Mobile Experts.

You will build relationships, promote ownership of safety, and drive improvements. The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, multi-site experience, and a proven ability to influence at management level.

Qualifications

• Established experience within a health & safety role.
• Experience across multi-site locations.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites.

Responsibilities

• Undertake audits and site inspections to raise safety standards.
• Produce written reports and safety leadership summaries.
• Lead investigations of accidents and incidents to identify root causes.
• Provide expert health & safety advice to management and colleagues.
• Liaise with enforcement agencies as required by senior leaders.
• Contribute to training material design and delivery on safety topics.
