Health and Safety Officer
Newbury (travel across Oxfordshire, M3 Corridor, Southampton, Plymouth)
£40K-£45k

Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a social housing contractor in the Newbury area who are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join their team on a permanent basis to work as a boots-on-the-ground H&S lead for the West, reporting directly to the Group H&S Manager.

  • Manage SHEQ Advisors to support projects in the delivery of the companies SHEQ strategy and ensure managers assume full responsibility for the discharge of responsibilities, associated with their normal activities
  • Include site audits, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and operative engagement, with a strong focus on upskilling our in-house operatives and promoting a proactive safety culture.
  • Should be comfortable covering a large region and travelling as required

Key Knowledge:

  • Diploma (or equivalent) in Health & Safety.
  • Experience in Social Housing minimum of 3 years
  • Experience in managing people (Manager will have advisors reporting into them)
  • Current full UK driving license
  • NEBOSH
  • Planned Maintenance Experience
