Job Overview

Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer to provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe shopping environment, free from crime for customers and colleagues.

It is preferable to hold a current SIA license or certificates; training can be provided in some cases.

Vetting

A full 5-year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide this may result in withdrawal of the offer or termination of employment.

Main Duties

• Deliver industry-leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Use CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
• Liaise with store management teams
• Coordinate with police and crime partnerships to reduce store crime
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety and reduce crime
