Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 + benefits + accommodation (if required)

Health & Safety Manager - The Company:

Our client is a leading Tier 1 specialist Cladding & Roofing contractor working with major Tier 1 main contractors on large flagship new build projects. The business has a loyal and robust client base and is experiencing growth, looking to expand.

Health & Safety Manager - The Role:

• A fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior Health & Safety Manager to be based on Hinkley Point overseeing site H&S.
• Promote health, safety, environment, and quality to all staff, contractors, and business partners to embed safety into daily operations and support our commitments.
• Influence and deliver training, communication, and engagement programmes regarding HSEQ vision and strategies.
• Support the business in achieving its commitments, including accreditation to ISO and equivalent standards.
• Lead & direct the Behavioural Based Safety Improvement Programme.
• Lead site SHEQ planning to meet client and operational requirements.
• Ensure Monthly Briefings are produced, delivered, and recorded.
• Act as the Projects SHEQ expert, owning risk management strategies, proactive planning, and fostering a culture of HSEQ compliance.
• This is a client-facing role.

Experience required:

• NEBOSH Diploma desirable/working towards; minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH in Construction.
• Minimum 5 years construction experience essential.
• Cladding/Roofing experience highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of construction industry standards.
• Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver impactful presentations and report writing skills.
• Change management and problem-solving capabilities.
