Site H&S Facilities Manager - based Crick NN6 7GW

Position: H&S/ Facilities Manager (Warehousing and Transportation)
Location: Daventry - Crick DIDC2
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Mon-Fri 40hrs per week (08:00-16:00)
Salary: £40,000

Role Purpose:

  • Provide Health and Safety Executive & Business Continuity Management advice, guidance and support to enable the site to comply with relevant statutory legislation.
  • Drive business standardisation and assist with the continued adherence to the HSMS and other relevant HSE & BCM policies at the site.
  • Meet annual Safety, Health and Environmental objectives, assessed via the performance management system.
  • Assist in delivering the functional business objectives.
  • Coordinate and assist the Management team in ownership of all HSE & BCM actions & initiatives at the site.
  • Coordinate and manage on-site facilities and contractor management.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an operational H&S role - essential.
  • Previous H&S responsibility in warehouse and transport environments, target focused and capable of delivering standardised programs - essential.
  • Stakeholder management and influence skills - essential.
  • Excellent people management skills & experience - essential.
  • IT literacy - essential.
  • Flexibility to support local sites if required.
  • GCSE / O level or equivalent secondary education.
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate.
  • NEBOSH Diploma / equivalent (Desirable).
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management (Desirable).
