Role Purpose
To assist the Site Manager in ensuring that the construction operation is managed to build and deliver quality homes, within cost parameters, safely and to our customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Site Manager for Spitfire Homes, this vital role within our business will report directly into the Site Manager who is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on site, so that they are completed on time and to the standard required.

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all the construction operations on site
  • Assist the Site Manager in the project management of the site build
  • Assist with the management of Health and Safety across site operations, ensuring standards and procedures are being adhered to
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors on site and co-ordinating trades
  • Work with the NHBC to carry out key site and plot inspections


Duties, Objectives and KPI’s
In line with the outlined key responsibilities and purpose of this role, your main duties will include, but will not be limited to, the following.

  • Individual contribution to teams across the business to achieve programme.
  • Achieve an average H&S score of minimum 90%.
  • All 7-day visits and 28-day forms collected and works completed in a timely manner.
  • HQI Process results in less than 20 defects
  • Waste management – maintaining 100% recycled status

Some further desired training and experience appropriate for this role would be:

Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager
A trade background or knowledge of building process, including NHBC and Building Regulations
