Job summary

Safetykleen is seeking a proactive HSEQ Advisor to drive Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality across manufacturing and branch operations. You will work with managers to audit, investigate and implement practical improvements that reduce risk and enhance compliance.

You are an experienced HSEQ professional with manufacturing experience, strong knowledge of UK legislation, ISO standards and risk assessments, and you will travel to multiple sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in HSEQ or Health & Safety.
• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience with audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, RIDDOR and Fire Safety legislation.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach and ability to work across multi-site.
• Excellent report writing and Microsoft Office skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites.

HSEQ Advisor| Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality - Manufacturing

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to help drive a strong Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality culture across our manufacturing and branch operations.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with managers and operational teams to ensure compliance, reduce risk and continuously improve the way we work. From carrying out audits and investigations to supporting ISO management systems and coaching colleagues, you'll play a key role in creating safer workplaces and maintaining the high standards our customers and employees expect.

About You

You're an experienced HSEQ professional who enjoys being out in the business, building relationships and influencing positive change. You have a practical approach to Health & Safety, can confidently challenge where required and always look for solutions rather than simply identifying problems.

You'll be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities across a multi-site environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

You will have:

• Previous HSEQ or Health & Safety experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience (essential).
• Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience with audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, RIDDOR and Fire Safety legislation.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Well organised with excellent time management.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Good report writing and Microsoft Office skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites, including occasional overnight stays.

Advantageous

• Experience carrying out COSHH assessments.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working within a multi-site organisation.
