Job summary

Irwin and Colton are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to provide regional HSE support across multiple sites. Based in Huddersfield with regional travel, you will drive compliance, improve safety standards and support estates operations.

The role requires NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent, knowledge of ISO management systems, and strong communication and stakeholder skills to coordinate actions across teams.

You will provide regional H&S support across a varied portfolio of operational and estates environments, helping to maintain compliance, improve safety standards and support teams across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities of the HSE Advisor Include:

• Conduct site inspections, audits and H&S visits, producing reports and following up on corrective actions.
• Support and help to ensure compliance with ISO management systems.
• Provide practical H&S advice to site and operational teams.
• Contribute to wider SHEQ projects, management system objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful HSE Advisor Will Have:

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of ISO management, ideally with experience supporting audits and management systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to coordinate multiple parties and follow up on outstanding actions.
