Do you enjoy working on construction and CDM projects within a busy manufacturing environment?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected manufacturing business with a strong reputation for safety and compliance. The role focuses on construction, maintenance, and CDM-related activities, giving you exposure to a wide range of projects across the site.

Working closely with the Health, Safety and Environment Manager, you'll help maintain high standards, support safety initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement across both operational and project-based activities.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting site teams with construction, maintenance, and CDM compliance
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, providing guidance, training, and support on HSE standards, audits, and risk management
  • Assisting in the development, maintenance, and improvement of safety management systems
  • Supporting incident investigations, toolbox talks, and safety communications to promote a proactive safety culture
  • Helping manage contractors and ensuring robust HSE standards are maintained across projects
Qualifications
  • Experience in a health and safety position, ideally within construction, maintenance, or facilities management
  • A practical, hands‑on approach, comfortable being on site and engaging with teams at all levels
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviours
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent professional qualification
