Job summary

DPD is seeking an outstanding Health and Safety Advisor to join their team, covering the DPD Network. You will drive high standards of health and safety across sites, monitor compliance with site rules, and support investigations into health and safety matters.

You will travel to various sites during key operational times, provide actionable recommendations to improve compliance, record findings in reporting systems, and collaborate with the wider health and safety team on improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance or health and safety role.
• Understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and related legislation.
• Willingness to study NEBOSH diploma within the first 3 years of employment.
• Excellent communication skills across multiple formats.
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks.
• Strong teamwork and collaborative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various sites to conduct on-site visits during key operational times.
• Provide clear, concise and practical recommendations to improve health and safety compliance.
• Support health and safety investigations at sites.
• Record findings in health and safety reporting systems.
• Collaborate with the wider health and safety team on compliance projects.
