Job summary

DCS Recruitment Limited seeks three Regional Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisors to support construction and facilities management projects across multiple UK regions. This site-based, boots-on-the-ground role requires delivering practical HSE guidance on live sites and ensuring compliance with CDM and current legislation.

You will operate across your designated region, carry out site inspections, audits and RAMS reviews, and lead toolbox talks to promote a positive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' practical Health & Safety experience within construction or facilities management.
• Demonstrable experience working within a CDM environment.
• Strong site-based (boots-on-the-ground) Health & Safety experience.
• IOSH Membership or equivalent.
• Minimum Level 4 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (Level 6 highly desirable).
• Excellent knowledge of current UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout your allocated region.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical Health, Safety & Environmental advice across construction and facilities management projects.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Review RAMS, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and current Health & Safety legislation.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across operational teams.
• Support Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors with Health & Safety best practice.
• Deliver toolbox talks and informal coaching where required.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Prioritise site visits based on project risk and operational requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with company procedures.
