Job summary

Your Housing Group is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join the Occupational Health & Safety Team. The role supports the Health & Safety Manager, delivers the operational H&S plan, and runs inspections across contractor portfolios and YHG estates across five regions to ensure safe sites.

This 35-hour per week role is largely home-based with occasional meetings at our Warrington Head Office. Applicants should hold NEBOSH General or Construction certificates, have advisory experience

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
• Experience advising in Construction/ refurbishment environments
• Experience implementing or supporting Health & Safety Management Systems
• Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with internal/external customers
• Full UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle for work

Responsibilities

• Support the Health and Safety Manager with the operational H&S plan delivery
• Conduct inspections across contractor portfolios and YHG estates across five regions
• Develop and refine health & safety processes and safe working practices
• Engage with stakeholders to promote health, safety and wellbeing across the organisation
