Job summary

Your Housing Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support the Occupational Health & Safety Team. The role focuses on delivering the health & safety service to the Asset Department, including on-site contractor management and CDM compliance.

The position is 35 hours per week, primarily home-based with occasional meetings at our Warrington head office, and requires NEBOSH certification and full driving license.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate required.
• Experience advising on H&S within Construction/Refurbishment.
• Experience implementing H&S Management System.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary team with internal/external customers.
• Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
• Collaborative team player.
• Engaging communicator with stakeholders.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Health and Safety Manager with operational plan delivery and inspections.
• Carry out planned H&S inspections across contractor portfolio.
• Contribute to development of H&S processes and safe practices.
• Liaise with employees, contractors and 3rd party design services.
• Respond to day-to-day H&S queries in a timely manner.
