Job summary

Aster Group is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support our Property Services teams. You will embed best practices, advise on risk management, and refresh risk assessments across multiple sites. A strong focus on reporting, audits, and proactive safety improvements will be essential.

The role is hybrid, with travel across our operating regions in the UK. A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is required, and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience applying health and safety practices in a medium to large organisation.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is required; housing/background desirable.
• Ability to identify hazards, assess risks and produce concise site reports.

Responsibilities

• Refresh risk assessments and investigate significant incidents.
• Provide competent health and safety advice to colleagues and managers.
• Review induction, onboarding and ongoing safety procedures.
• Monitor activities to protect staff and contractors from risks.
• Create reports and recommendations for action; drive priority projects to completion.
