Job summary

Red Sky Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor to join a civil engineering contractor delivering projects across Birmingham and the West Midlands. This permanent, site-based role offers opportunities for training and career progression.

You will work with project and site teams, conducting site visits, audits, RAMS reviews, risk monitoring and incident investigations, while promoting safe working practices across sites.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Hold a relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular site visits, inspections and H&S audits.
• Providing practical HS&A advice and guidance to project and site teams.
• Reviewing RAMS and other site safety documentation.
• Monitoring site activities and identifying potential risks.
• Supporting incident and near-miss investigations.
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and H&S legislation.
• Working with subcontractors to promote safe practices.
• Supporting toolbox talks and safety briefings.
