NHS Scotland—Health Records and Clinical Coding Manager based at Gilbert Bain Hospital in Shetland— seeks an experienced leader to manage health records services and drive informatics initiatives within the eHealth strategy. The post offers Band 7 remuneration (£52,845–£61,466) with a Distant Island Allowance (£2,578) and relocation assistance up to £8,000.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant first degree and demonstrate senior-level experience in informatics and business administration.
• Proven leadership and proactive management abilities in health records or related field.
• Experience working within NHS or public health context preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide a comprehensive health records service and lead team activities.
• Assist with development and implementation of new technology aligned with eHealth strategy.
• Support Health Records and Reception Team Leaders and provide staff training.
