Job summary

PwC UK’s Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Valuations team is expanding. We seek an experienced Director with deep sector experience to lead growth, win work, and build strong client relationships in health, pharma, and life sciences.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on valuation delivery for a diverse client base across the UK. You will guide project teams, mentor staff, and help shape a high‑value, strategic practice within PwC’s Deals offering.

Qualifications

• Deep healthcare, pharmaceutical and/or life sciences knowledge
• Strong technical valuation skills
• ACA or CFA qualification (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience
• Passionate about the industry and client service
• Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to succeed
• Strong communicator both oral and written
• Consultative and collaborative mindset with ability to work in teams under tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in winning work and growing the business, leading major client proposals and presentations
• Lead delivery of large, complex valuation assignments, manage clients, prepare detailed valuation analyses and present findings
• Mentor and coach project teams, motivate junior staff and foster a high-performance culture
• Develop a network with health, pharma and life sciences clients and other stakeholders to generate business
• Take a leading role in developing proposals and client presentations
• Maintain high-level technical valuation skills and share knowledge within the team and PwC network
• Attend regular events and networking sessions to build personal and team market profile
• Contribute to evolution of valuation methodology and use of technology to drive efficiency and new services
