Job summary

Pegasus Search & Selection is seeking an Associate Director to lead healthcare capital projects and shape the growth of its Programme and Project Management team across the Midlands. You’ll mentor Project Managers, win work, and develop client relationships in a high‑impact, hybrid role.

You’ll combine delivery excellence with a commercial mindset, building trusted partnerships with NHS and private sector clients while guiding strategic account development and talent expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex healthcare capital projects from feasibility to completion.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Commercial awareness with responsibility for project financial performance.
• Experience working within healthcare, public sector or complex built environment projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex healthcare capital projects from inception through to completion.
• Provide governance, programme reporting and senior stakeholder management.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
• Develop existing client accounts and identify new opportunities across healthcare programmes.
• Support bids, tenders and framework submissions.
• Lead by example with high‑quality project delivery and client service.
