Job summary

Benifex in the United Kingdom is seeking a Health Consultant to join its Corporate Benefits team. You will provide full consultancy services on Health Benefits to mid to high value customers using the OneHub platform, managing, retaining, and expanding client relationships across PMI, Dental, Cashplan, EAPs and Health Assessments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in health consulting for large corporate clients.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of corporate health products (PMI, Dental, Cashplan, EAPs, Health Assessments).
• IF7 qualified or actively pursuing.
• Clear understanding of FCA procedures and requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue across multiple services and support the team strategy.
• Build deep knowledge of each client’s health and wellbeing goals.
• Secure meetings, coordinate experts, and lead high-quality presentations.
• Expand services per client and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Ensure timely delivery of services per the project plan with clients.

Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Consultant in our wonderful Corporate Benefits team! This is an ideal progression step for those wanting to take their next step in broking consultancy.

As a Health Consultant you will provide full consultancy services on Health Benefits to a portfolio of mid to high value customers who will predominantly be based on our online flexible benefits platform - OneHub. This will involve managing, retaining, and growing corporate customers that span multiple service lines within Healthcare, such as PMI, Dental, Cashplan, EAPs and Health Assessments.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to profitable revenue growth across multiple services and the achievement of the Corporate Benefits’ team strategy, plans and targets.
• To build detailed knowledge of each of customer account, their health & wellbeing strategy/approach and decision makers to fully understand their aims, objectives and ambitions.
• Secure broking meetings, coordinating relevant product and service experts and stakeholders as required. Compile and lead high quality presentations and negotiations.
• Expand the level of business within existing services and expand the number of services per customer (cross sell).
• To ensure timely delivery of agreed services to the client in line with the Benifex project plan. This will involve working closely with Benifex Client Service Directors and Strategic Consultancy team members to deliver terms as required by the business. This may involve weekly project calls and attending and presenting at quarterly client meetings

What are we looking for?

• Proven successful track record of commercial delivery and business development of Health customers
• Proven experience of delivering Health consulting advice and solutions, as well as presenting to, large corporate customers
• Advanced knowledge of how Group Health products (PMI, Dental, Cashplan, EAPs and Health Assessments)
• IF7 qualified (or working towards it)
• Clear understanding of FCA procedures and requirements
• Able to recognise and ensure delivery of customer service excellence
• Financial / P&L management and budgeting experience
• Excellent customer relationship building and stakeholder management skills with ability to build a network of contacts, both internally and externally
• Consultative selling skills
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to work cross functionally across diverse teams, facilitating collaborative working to ensure delivery for customers
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the corporate benefits environment
