Job summary

MCS Group is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join its HR function in Belfast. You will support the management and development of employee benefits across the UK and Europe, coordinating healthcare, pensions and related schemes while liaising with providers and stakeholders.

The role focuses on delivering competitive, compliant benefits and leading benefits-related projects within a growing international organisation. Hybrid working and strong development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyse reports and market data.
  • High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Experience with HR systems or benefits platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support review and development of employee benefits programmes across the UK and wider European region.
  • Coordinate benefits including healthcare, life, accident, disability, pensions and other locally relevant benefits.
  • Manage benefits-related projects from planning through to delivery, coordinating stakeholders, timelines and actions.
  • Support complex employee benefits queries and ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Prepare benefits survey submissions and analyse market data for benchmarking.
  • Analyse benefits costs, trends and programme changes to support decisions and budgeting.
  • Develop clear communications around benefits, enrolment and policy changes.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external providers to ensure effective delivery.
  • Ensure information is accurate, confidential and compliant with requirements.
  • Support ongoing development of benefits programmes as the organisation grows internationally.

Are you an HR professional with experience in employee benefits, HR operations or reward and looking for your next opportunity within a global organisation?

We're delighted to be partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit a Benefits Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established HR function and play a key role in delivering competitive, compliant and employee-focused benefits across the UK and wider European region.

The Role

As Benefits Specialist, you'll support the management and development of employee benefits programmes, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant and aligned with both business and employee needs.

You'll work closely with HR colleagues, internal stakeholders and external providers, while also taking ownership of benefits-related projects and initiatives across the region.

  • Support the review and development of employee benefits programmes across the UK and wider European region.
  • Coordinate benefits including healthcare, life, accident, disability, pensions and other locally relevant benefits.
  • Manage benefits-related projects from planning through to delivery, coordinating stakeholders, timelines and key actions.

The ideal candidate
  • Previous experience in an employee benefits focused role, or managing employee benefits responsibilities
  • CIPD qualification, or degree in HR or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with reports, market data and multiple projects.
  • High attention to detail, integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with HR systems or benefits platforms would be advantageous.
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
