Job summary

The Best Western Plus Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa in Coventry is seeking a Health Club Manager to lead our leisure facilities. You will oversee guest services, staff performance, and the smooth operation of the Health Club and Spa to uphold our brand standards.

• Managerial experience within the leisure and spa industry.
• Passion for health and fitness.
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service and train others to follow a similar example.
• Have previous proven experience in a 4-star hotel or a similar high-quality environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and address service needs, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
• Supervise the Health Club & Spa for safety and guest satisfaction.
• Run reception desk efficiently and focus on guest care throughout the shift.
• Achieve set Revenue Targets for Business (e.g. conversion ratio) as agreed and set out in the Sales Activity Plan.
• Organise and participate in Leisure & Spa Events at the venue.
• Update and oversee the production of Leisure & Spa collateral.
• Drive and retain Leisure memberships with a calendar of events.
• Maintain and manage the Leisure and Spa diary ensuring bookings are inputted upon receipt and updated.
• Take enquiries and bookings for Spa efficiently and encourage maximum sales revenue.
• Ensure usage by members, guests and staff is properly controlled and recorded.
• Sell and process Leisure memberships promoting the club’s services.
• Provide information about available recreation facilities and activities.
• Observe activity in the recreational facility and maintain poolside cover as appropriate.
• Develop classes and lessons throughout the Health Club in line with customer and member needs.
