We are currently recruiting for a Part time Health Club Assistant / Receptionist at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

One of the best luxury hotels in Wetherby, Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, is a beautiful award-winning country house retreat promising peace and tranquillity with every stay. Originally built as a country retreat for the Scott family, Wood Hall Hotel & Spa in West Yorkshire is a world away from everyday stresses and pressures.

The hotel offers 44 stylishly-designed bedrooms, an award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant and a small health club and spa, renowned as one of the most luxurious spa venues in West Yorkshire. All of these attributes make Wood Hall Hotel the perfect destination for a romantic break, a family getaway or simply some rest, relaxation and pampering.

  • The role of our Health Club Assistant / receptionists is to deliver an exceptional guest experience, by putting the guest at the heart of everything you do, through personalised and thoughtful service with care and attention to detail.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of engagement with guests throughout their time in the Health Club & Spa to make them feel at home, relaxed, and importantly identify and create magical memories at every possible opportunity.
  • In collaboration with the Health Club & Spa team you’ll maintain regular and effective communication to ensure a seamless operation, aware of all the days activities.
  • Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

About You

  • To be considered for this role you will have knowledge and experience of working in a customer focused role.
  • You will need to be confident in water and willing to qualify in being a pool responder and level 2 water testing.
  • Be passionate about going above and beyond for our guests and recognise and skilfully act on opportunities to make the guest experience memorable through offering or suggesting appropriate hotel products and facilities.
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
  • You’ll have proficient computer skills.
  • Through your enthusiasm and willing approach, you will demonstrate how you find solutions to any scenario.
  • Act calmly and professionally, maintaining an outwardly positive attitude even when under pressure.

Our Benefits Include

  • A competitive salary package of £14.32 per hour, plus a share of service charge.
  • This is a Part-Time role working 2 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis, 14 hours per week (7 hour shifts), which may vary depending on business needs. We would be looking for someone to be flexible in increasing their hours to cover busy periods and holiday cover. Hours of work are between 6.00am and 9.30pm.
