BCL Legal is working with a highly regarded national firm seeking to recruit an Associate (4+ PQE) into its expanding Health & Care Regulatory team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier practice that is consistently recognised in the legal directories and has achieved consecutive years of growth. The Role

You will advise clients across the health, social care, education and housing sectors, spanning both contentious and non-contentious matters. This is a diverse and intellectually stimulating area of practice, with regular opportunities for advocacy and client interaction.

Work will include:

- Managing a varied caseload of litigation and advisory matters
- Advocacy at inquests, Court of Protection hearings, and Tribunals
- Advising on safeguarding, patient safety, serious incident response, CQC/HSE inspection and enforcement, and related regulatory matters
- Supporting clients with education and children law issues
- Playing an active role in client care and business development

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- At least 4 years' PQE
- Experience in health, social care, or education law (or a strong interest in developing this expertise)
- Excellent technical and analytical skills, with a practical and commercial mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to client work
- A proactive attitude towards business development and building long-term client relationships
