Health Care Assistant

£ 15.54 per hour

Chosen Care Group urgently recruits ‘Health Care Assistants’ for Redbridge IG1, Barking IG11, Havering RM3, Havering RM11, Havering RM12, Havering RM13, and Newham E11.

As a Health Care Assistant, you should have at least one year of experience providing Personal Care, PEG, Catheter care, and Oral suctioning. A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or its equivalent is required, along with strong communication skills and the willingness to adapt to flexible working schedules to meet our patients' community-based needs.

The role encompasses responsibilities such as:

• Tracheostomy Tube Management and Suctioning.
• Medication Administration (via PEG).
• Ventilator Assistance (for specific clients).
• Seizure Management (for specific clients).
• Feeding Support (PEG and oral).
• Specialised Medical Equipment Operation.
• Infection Control.
• Moving and Handling (for specific clients).
• Effective Communication and Collaboration.

We can offer permanent, temporary, full-time, or part-time positions, and we try to accommodate the hours you require. We also welcome weekend-only workers.
