We are seeking to appoint a Health and Welfare Support Assistant - Team Lead to support the health and welfare needs of all pupils at Ivy House School, as well as supporting other team members. The role involves supporting pupils in various areas across the school, primarily safely administering enteral feeding and supporting medication administration. It may also include personal and intimate care, supporting pupils' physical needs, therapies (such as rebound and hydrotherapy), and classroom support.
The successful candidate will be pupil-focused, with a desire and ability to support students with care and mutual respect. You should be able to work as part of a team, be eager to learn and develop, and have a strong commitment to improving the lives of pupils, ensuring they are happy, safe, and ready to learn.
Experience working with vulnerable children and/or adults in education, health, or care settings, along with excellent communication skills, is desirable. Experience of enteral feeding and clinical competencies related to it are preferred, but full training and competencies will be provided.

Working hours are 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days.
