Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking an experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer for a temporary contract based in Epsom. You will teach and assess Health & Social Care courses for 14-19 and adult learners, delivering programmes from Entry Level to Level 3 and acting as a personal tutor for designated students.

You will support student achievement, progression, retention and development, oversee course work and liaise with employers on placements.

Qualifications

• Teach and assess Health & Social Care courses for 14-19 and adult learners.
• Deliver programmes from Entry Level to Level 3, including college-based qualifications and workforce development.
• Must have a DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons and assessments.
• Develop schemes of work, syllabuses, learning materials and outcomes.
• Monitor and record student progress, assessment and attendance/discipline.
• Provide regular feedback, tutorial and pastoral support.
• Support admissions, enrolment, induction and student tracking.
• Work with employers and other agencies regarding placements and career opportunities.
• Maintain course records and prepare documentation for internal/external moderators and verifiers.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and course reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, equality and GDPR requirements.

Role Overview:
