Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is recruiting Health & Social Care Lecturers for Reading to deliver high-quality FE education. The role covers Health & Social Care programmes, with full-time hours on a temporary/ongoing basis. Start date is immediate or after notice period, with a negotiable hourly salary.

The ideal candidate will deliver lessons, assess learners, provide feedback and support diverse learners while following safeguarding and college policies. An engaging, professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Health & Social Care in Further Education or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge across Health & Social Care subjects.
• Ability to deliver engaging FE lessons and assess learner work.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons to FE students.
• Teach across Health & Social Care programmes and levels.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Assess learner work and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain records.
• Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and materials.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
• Support learners’ academic, personal and professional development.
• Ensure safeguarding and college policies are followed.

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with leading Further Education colleges in Reading to recruit experienced

Health & Social Care Lecturers on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to deliver high-quality Health & Social Care education and support learners in achieving their academic and career goals.

Location: Reading (RG1 4HJ)

Salary: up to £37 Per Hour(Negotiable)

Contract: Temporary / Ongoing

Start Date: Immediate or after notice period

Hours: Full-time

Interview: TBC

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons to Further Education students.
• Teach across relevant Health & Social Care programmes and qualification levels.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
• Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
• Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
• Support learners with their academic, personal and professional development.
• Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety and college policies are followed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive learner outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience teaching Health & Social Care within Further Education or a similar setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across Health & Social Care.
• Experience delivering engaging lessons to FE learners.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
• The ability to assess learner work and provide effective feedback.
• A genuine passion for supporting learners to achieve their potential.
• Relevant industry experience within Health & Social Care would be desirable.
• A relevant teaching qualification would be desirable.
