Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious further education college in London for a Health and Social Care Lecturer on a temporary, hourly-paid contract. The role covers teaching and assessing Health & Social Care courses for 14-19 and adult learners, from Entry Level to Level 3, including college-based qualifications and workforce development.

The successful candidate will act as a personal tutor/course coordinator for designated students, support achievement and progression,

Qualificações

• Must have a DBS on the update service.
• Experience teaching Health & Social Care to 14-19 and adult learners is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver Health & Social Care lessons and assessments.
• Develop schemes of work, syllabuses, learning materials and outcomes.
• Provide regular feedback, tutorial and pastoral support to students.
• Coordinate with admissions, enrolment, induction and student tracking.
• Work with employers and other agencies regarding placements and career opportunities.
• Maintain course records and prepare documentation for moderators and verifiers.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and course reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, equality and GDPR requirements.

Role Overview

• Teach and assess Health & Social Care courses for 14-19 and adult learners.
• Deliver programmes from Entry Level to Level 3, including college-based qualifications and workforce development.
• Act as a personal tutor/course coordinator for designated students.
• Support student achievement, progression, retention and development.
• Must have a DBS on the update service.

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons and assessments.
• Develop schemes of work, syllabuses, learning materials and outcomes.
• Monitor and record student progress, assessment and attendance/discipline.
• Provide regular feedback, tutorial and pastoral support.
• Support admissions, enrolment, induction and student tracking.
• Work with employers and other agencies regarding placements and career opportunities.
• Maintain course records and prepare documentation for internal/external moderators and verifiers.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and course reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, equality and GDPR requirements.
