Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor for a Brentwood-based role, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. You will deliver proactive H&S services, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and developing safe working practices.

The role involves risk assessments, inspections, incident management, training and engagement, and ongoing auditing and reporting to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/logistics environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections, investigations and audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience with COSHH assessments and safety data sheets.

Person Specification

• Previous health and safety experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, automotive or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections, investigations and audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Internal Auditor training or relevant auditing experience.
• Experience with COSHH assessments and safety data sheets.
