Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting an H&S Advisor for a Brentwood-based role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Salary £40,000 - £45,000. The successful candidate will deliver a proactive health and safety service ensuring compliance with UK legislation and establish effective policies and safe working practices.

Key responsibilities include risk assessments, workplace inspections, accident management, training, and driving continuous improvement through audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
• IOSH Managing Safely.
• Internal Auditor training or auditing experience.
• Experience with COSHH assessments and safety data sheets.

Our client is looking to recruit a H & S Advisor

Brentwood based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

£40,000 - £45,000

Overview

The successful candidate will deliver a proactive health and safety service, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and establishing effective policies, procedures and safe working practices.

• Accident and Incident Management
• Training and Employee Engagement
• Auditing, Reporting and Continuous Improvement

Person Specification

• Previous health and safety experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, automotive or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections, investigations and audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Internal Auditor training or relevant auditing experience.
