Equans is seeking a Health and Safety Manager for a full-time, onsite role in Birmingham. The successful candidate will lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance with regulations, and promote a positive safety culture across the organization. Equans is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent Basis. This is a full-time, onsite role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company car or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
The purpose of the role is to provide guidance and leadership to ensure that contracts in the Technical Services (TS) division meet their statutory safety and environment requirements and to assist contracts in delivering on responsible business initiatives.
This role will identify and deliver solutions to improve operational safety, health, environment & quality (SHEQ) in contracts in the part of TS that they are assigned to. Working closely, and in partnership, with the operational teams and the Responsible Business, CDM and TS SHEQ Solutions teams this role will ensure the EQUANS objectives and SHEQ culture are embedded within sites and contracts at a regional level.
