Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is partnering with an established consultancy to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant. The role is home-based with travel to client sites across the Midlands and South, including overnight stays, offering varied and hands-on site work.

You will conduct audits, build client relationships, assist after incidents, and deliver training both on-site and remotely. Salary up to £45,000 with a £3,600 car allowance and benefits.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• IOSH membership at Tech IOSH level or willingness to pursue.
• Good organisation skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client relations.
• Full UK driving licence with ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out health and safety audits and inspections on client sites and produce reports explaining findings and recommended actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to become a trusted extension of their team.
• Support clients after incidents and near misses, including investigations and corrective actions guidance.
• Deliver training both virtually and on site with clients.
