Job summary

Assured Safety Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a Health & Safety Consultancy to recruit an experienced advisor/manager for a hybrid role based in the West Midlands. You’ll work with diverse clients across industries, delivering practical, commercially focused health and safety guidance while developing training and new services.

You’ll manage your own diary, travel regionally, and benefit from a generous CPD investment and a performance-related bonus, with hybrid remote working and regional

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 qualification, or close to achieving it.
• Strong practical H&S experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Consultancy experience is welcome but not essential.
• Level 3 Fire Safety qualification is desirable.
• Confident communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own workload with a diary and hybrid pattern.
• Develop strong client relationships across industries.
• Provide practical, commercially focused health and safety advice.
• Contribute to training programmes and new services.
• Hybrid working with regional client visits and collaboration with an experienced team.

Location: Flexible: West Midlands or surrounding counties | Hybrid - Client-Based & Remote Working | Circa £50,000-£52,000 + Bonus + 55p per mile

The opportunity

This is an opportunity to take your health and safety experience into a broader consultancy role, working with an established client base across a range of industries.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own workload, develop strong client relationships and provide practical, commercially focused advice. Alongside your day-to-day consultancy work, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of training programmes and new services.

The role offers a good balance of independent working (you will manage your own diary) and collaboration with an experienced team, with the flexibility of a hybrid arrangement and regional client visits.

What we're looking for

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification, or close to achieving it - essential
• Strong practical H&S experience, ideally gained within manufacturing or a similar industrial environment
• Existing consultancy experience would be welcomed but isn't essential
• Ideally a Level 3 Fire Safety qualification and interest in fire safety
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to health and safety
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
