Job summary

Assured Safety Recruitment is seeking an experienced health and safety professional for a flexible West Midlands role with hybrid working, client visits and remote elements. The post offers a competitive salary and mileage compensation within a supportive consultancy environment.

You will lead on HSE advisory across varied industries, manage your diary, build client relationships and contribute to training and new service offerings, with strong CPD support and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) essential.
• Strong practical Health & Safety experience in manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
• Consultancy experience welcomed but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage own workload with autonomy and diary control.
• Develop strong client relationships and provide practical advisory services.
• Contribute to training programmes and new service development.

Location: Flexible: West Midlands or surrounding counties | Hybrid - Client-Based & Remote Working | Circa £50,000-£52,000 + Bonus + 55p per mile

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take your health and safety experience into a broader consultancy role, working with an established client base across a range of industries.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own workload, develop strong client relationships and provide practical, commercially focused advice. Alongside your day-to-day consultancy work, you also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of training programmes and new services.

The role offers a good balance of independent working (you will manage your own diary) and collaboration with an experienced team, with the flexibility of a hybrid arrangement and regional client visits.

What we’re looking for

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification, or close to achieving it - essential
• Strong practical H&S experience, ideally gained within manufacturing or a similar industrial environment
• Existing consultancy experience would be welcomed but isn’t essential
• Ideally a Level 3 Fire Safety qualification and interest in fire safety
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to health and safety
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
