Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is partnering with an established consultancy to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant. The role is home-based with travel to client sites across the Midlands and South, including occasional overnight stays, offering varied, hands-on safety work.

You will conduct audits, produce reports, maintain client relationships, support investigations, and deliver training on site or virtually.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• IOSH membership at Tech IOSH level or willing to work towards this.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build client relationships.
• Full UK driving licence with ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out health and safety audits and inspections on client sites and produce reports explaining findings and recommended actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to become a trusted extension of their team.
• Support clients following incidents and near misses where required, including investigations and guidance on corrective actions.
• Deliver training both virtually and on site with clients.

In this role you will:
