Job description

Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor

We're partnering with a leading retail organisation to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor for their expanding safety team.

Reporting directly to the Safety Department, you will travel across sites along the M25, promoting safety standards and collaborating with on-site teams to implement meaningful safety improvements.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice on health and safety issues on site.
  2. Conduct audits and inspections to identify improvement areas.
  3. Prepare reports on site safety performance for management.
  4. Investigate incidents to determine root causes and preventative measures.
  5. Foster positive relationships with staff to promote a strong safety culture.
  6. Liaise with stakeholders across sites on safety matters.
Candidate Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage staff at all levels across multiple sites.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an operational safety role.
