Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary or secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Educational leadership: develop and implement a vision aligned with the Polaris Community values.
• Safeguarding: act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and implement safeguarding policies.
• Curriculum enhancement: adapt curriculum to diverse needs and ensure engaging learning.
• Pastoral care and SEN advocacy: support emotional wellbeing and EHCP objectives.
• Staff development: mentor staff and foster collaboration.
• Community engagement: build relationships with parents, carers and external partners.
