Job description

Due to the retirement of our long serving and highly respected Headteacher we are seeking a Headteacher who has passion, drive and enthusiasm to build on Thorpe’s current successes and drive the school forward on its journey.

As Headteacher of our school you will lead by example, model and promote positive attitudes and relationships amongst staff, children, parents and the local community in keeping with the school’s vision and values.

We are looking for a leader who will:

• Provide strong clear leadership to maintain our high levels of progress and attainment
• Hold high expectations for our pupils achievements regardless of their starting point or socio-economic background
• Lead by example, motivate and inspire our children, staff and community

Thorpe Church of England Primary School is a one-form entry voluntary aided school based in Thorpe within the Diocese of Guildford. Thorpe Village is located between Egham and Chertsey with good transport links being 20 miles west of Central London adjacent to the M25 and M3. Our school is a distinctively Christian school where our vision and ethos permeates through all that we do.
